“Interesting property. It has an open floor plan with a nice amount of space. It's located quite a ways from the road, so there is plenty of privacy. The hosts were easy to communicate with.”

“Monty’s Cabin was a great place for our group of three couples to stay. One bathroom per bedroom was perfect! The secluded spot in the woods on the side of a hill is beautiful. And communication with Gail the host was great! She was so very helpful! I’m attaching a photo of the road turning off Springfield Highway coming from the south.”

“Very comfortable”

“Loved the property - it was so beautiful and peaceful. Leaves were still changing colors, river/lake is so pretty behind the house. The house was perfect for us - Melisa even double checked what they had to be sure we had or brought everything we needed to cook a family Thanksgiving! While house is set up for about 4 people, we had 7 of us for dinner and it was perfect! Beds were comfy, lots of nice towels, throws to snuggle on the couch with. We'll be back!”

“Loved everything about the cabin. Great location and very secluded. We saw deer every morning in the back yard! We will definitely be back.”

“This place was absolutely perfect in every way! Beautifully decorated, very comfy inside, BEAUTIFUL scenery outside! We had a gorgeous bald eagle parked right outside our window throughout our stay. This place is magnificent!”

“Very cute little cabin!! Second time staying here and I’m sure there will be more!!”

“Beautiful property with everything needed for my stay.I enjoyed hearing the birds and seeing the cows each morning!”

“This is a great place to relax with nature. The lake is in walking distance, the balconies are a great place to unwind with a cup of coffee or a glass of wine. The fire pit and hot tub are an added bonus.Pulling in and out of the property is definitely a challenge to be ready for, as well as getting up to the cabin on a steep hill and gravel road.Blackout curtains would help with the sun shining in the morning.Overall, we would recommend for a tranquil retreat that isn't too far from Nashville.”
