Wonderful stay for a conference

We stayed here as a group instead of reserving individual hotel rooms. Was cheaper and so much nicer. The view is incredible and the property is very well maintained. The upstairs unit is certainly nicer than downstairs but we had no complaints about anything. We Uber'd everyday to the conference center and the overall cost was still lower. Plus, it was easy to have groceries delivered and have food available whenever we needed it. Would definitely recommend.

Incredible view and space for everyone!

We had such a wonderful stay at the Hilltop Hacienda! The views are spectacular! There were 9 adults in our group and there was more than enough space for us all to spread out and have our own private bedrooms/retreats. The owner was very responsive via text, everything was clean and the kitchens were well stocked with most everything we needed. It was fun to watch the planes take off and land. There is noise from the airplanes from 6am to 10pm, but the view outweighs that minor inconvenience. Thank you for a great stay!

Wonderful Home

The house was super spacious, large bedrooms and a gorgeous upstairs and downstairs kitchen. It was centrally located to most all of the touristy activities and Ubers easily available. The hosts were incredibly responsive to a small issue we had during our stay! Highly recommend

Beautiful view in a beautiful property

We had a great time with family on 4th of July weekend. The upstairs is amazing all the way around! View, kitchen, master, jacuzzi. We woul definitely stay again. The only complaint anyone had was the upstairs bathroom pocket door. Hard to open & close.

Amazing Property

The house was amazing. From the views, amenities, cleanliness and accessibility. We were traveling with elderly grandparents and the 1st floor apartment was perfect. The second floor was a great space and we were pleasantly surprised to find a dart board and foosball table. The house was fully stocked with kitchen appliances, cookware and dishes. The pantry was stocked with a wide variety of spices and other essentials. We also appreciated the welcome snacks, San Pelligrino and bottle of sparkling wine to welcome us. Highly recommend this property and would gladly stay there again if we come back to San Diego.

We had 11 people including a 1 year old for a family Christmas in San Diego and the property was perfect. The house is beautiful and the views are spectacular. Plenty of room for everyone and the house is in excellent shape, everything was new and clean. It was a great location - it is convenient to everything in greater San Diego and we walked to Little Italy several times. The owner was very helpful and accommodating and regularly checked in during our stay to make sure things were going well. I highly recommend this property.

Everything was wonderful. The only thing we needed was a couple more blankets. We used both of the blow-up mattresses. We need blankets on top and underneath. A few more blankets would have been very helpful.

Fabulous!

This home was beautiful and accommodating for our group of seven women. It was an easy walk to Little Italy (but a serious uphill climb on the return). It is close to the airport so there is loud noise outside while using the deck or hot tub, but inside is not a problem. The owner was very responsive to the issues we needed help with. Highly recommended.

Great house in a great location!

I stayed here with a group of 12 for a bachelorette party back in July 2018 - the house was a good size, with a lot of room for people to spread out and comfortable couches in addition to the 5 bedrooms - there's even a nice couch outside if you want to sleep outdoors. The location is also great - easy walking distance to Little Italy (down a big hill - prepare yourself for an uphill walk back), and a very quick ride to places we wanted to go like the zoo/balboa park and downtown. There's a lot of natural light that comes in through the windows which is really nice. The patio looks out directly at the airport, but the airport noise is minimal as long as you keep the patio doors closed. Thanks for letting us use your house, we loved it!

LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION!

The best bit about this property is its location and incredible views. We sat and watched the harbor for hours. We ubered everywhere and found great restaurants nearby. Reading others reviews I think we just had a rough deal with our time there. The patio was not put together, the Sun shade was frayed through and on the floor. The explanation was that it had been windy. Maybe the property manager, knowing that should have swung by to check on everything before we got there. The hot tub was not clean, there was a layer of dust on the kitchen island and one of the doors hinges was broken so that it did not close properly allowing quite a bit of air traffic noise in. For the price and being marketed as a “luxury” rental we just expected something a little more high end. Maybe a shade/screen by the hot tub to screen from the neighbors would be good.

Stayed here over the 4th of July week with my family. The views were amazing where we watched the fireworks from the bay and had a BBQ. Would definitely return to do it again. Great location to everything we wanted visit and easy check in and out.

Wonderful property with great views. Had a lot of fun and we thoroughly enjoyed staying here. Also a lot of helpful tips were on the walls on how to access certain amenities like WIFI and TVs, etc. Overall, would recommend folks to stay here in the future.

Perfect stay in sunny San Diego

This property was a huge hit with all four of our adult children and ourselves. GREAT location. GREAT view. Everyone had their own room and declared the beds super comfy. I appreciated the master bedroom jetted tub after walking all day. A quick Uber to everywhere because the location was so ideal. Highly recommend this property.
