"Property needs a lot of renovations from the rooms to the pool , that is not in good shape, as it has mold all over. The good thing is the employees that make our stay enjoyable and forget the crying need for reparations. The rustic restaurant is lovely but the good is extremely expensive for the quality, I do not recommend it."

"Wonderful experience! Upon arrival, the staff was accommodating and welcoming with recommendations on parking and easy check-in. We would like to specifically like to specifically call out Alex and Mason- they were extremely friendly, welcoming, and informative on things to see, places to eat, and parking recommendations. The room was small but very nice. There were two large doors on our room leading out to a small private balcony overlooking the square, great for an an afternoon drink before heading out for the evening. The hotel is located in the heart of Viejo San Juan footsteps away from beautiful historic sites and dozens of wonderful neighborhood restaurants and bars. It is not too far from the main highway if you want to go check out other parts of the island. The hotel met and exceeded our expectations. Rooms may not be quite as nice as a modern luxury hotel and resort, but if you are looking for an affordable option in a fantastic location for exploring the historic district like we were, we would say that Armas Hotel would be very difficult to beat. Everything is clean, well kept, and comfortable. Highly recommend, would stay there again without hesitation."
