「We made a trip this way to visit Cedar Point. This was a very clean family friendly hotel. We stayed three nights with two adults and three kids (15,13,11). Kids enjoyed the breakfast and large spacious rooms. The beds were comfortable and it was a great experience overall. We are returning at the end of the month to visit Cedar Point again and currently finalizing the dates and thinking of booking this hotel again as we had a great stay !」

「It wasn’t as bad as the reviews make it seem! It’s an older building for sure, but it was pretty clean for the most part. The worst thing I could say is one of our beds had a huge stain on the comforter, and the breakfast could have had a little more variety, but it wasn’t bad at all!!!!!」

「Each time we choose to visit the lake and occasionally due to unpredictable circumstances; this hotel is the only option to stay ! It’s always clean , proximity to the beach area , stores and restaurants. The hotel staff is always accommodating. The location is our favorite , especially being close to the freeway, for any emergency exits .The staff are always friendly, the rooms are clean and the lake view is amazing! 「Typical Holiday Express. Room was good nothing special. Breakfast was good and included. Again nothing special but if you’ve stayed at an Express you know what to expect. It’s not a Bob Evan’s or Denny’s but a decent selection of food and beverages. We asked the cleaning staff to make up the room and left $20 on the bed for their tip. They did give us new towels and left the tip on the bed and didn’t make up the room. I guess you have to ask at the front desk for that service. Pool looked...

「Our room was dirty. I don't even think they had even actually cleaned it. The carpets were disgusting and looked like they never vacuumed them. There were hair and debris in our sheets and what looked like a booger smeared on the nightstand. There was toothpaste still visible on the bathroom countertop area that we cleaned up with wipes ourselves. 「Hotel room T.V. remote was difficult to operate to obtain free stations. Also, handicap room had no explanation on small platform found laying on floor of bathroom. Otherwise, room was very clean and spacious with no less than ten plus grab bars located in bathroom bathtub. Room window overlooked great lake view. 「Beautiful place along Lake Erie. Love that it's in the water. Fun bar next door. Lots of places to walk or benches/swings to sit and enjoy the views. The sunset in the swimming cove was lovely. Nickel Beach down the road was nice ($7 parking) and cleaner than the beach by the hotel. Plenty of places to eat in Sandusky which is 11 minutes away. Typical breakfast, clean room and extremely comfy beds. Worth the stop!」
