「The house was immaculately clean, well-equipped, and full of character, an ideal place to relax after a day exploring Madeira. The location is great, peaceful, near fantastic hiking trails and viewpoints. Waking up and drinking a coffee on the patio was heaven. Everything was well taken care of, thanks to André, a fantastic host organizing everything with attention to detail. 「Good location, not far from Funchal and from the airport. Public bus very near. Rooms are clean and nice (except the ones near the public areas like terraces or stairs very close to the balcony with people coming uop and down). Breakfast was also OK, quite big variety, although similar every day. Swimming pool very small, but direct access to the ocean. Fitness Centre open only till 21.30 during weekdays and till 20.00 on Saturdays and Sundays (It was the most weird and crazy there). Many floors...

「Near airport , few shop and restaurant. lobby have free wifi and if you reg the member,you can get the free a bottle of madeira wine,a bottle of water and fruit.No air-con and fan in room ,but we feel cold as the wind.Beautiful view .You can take bus to Funchal,around 15min and cost around 2Euro/way」

「It seemed to have all that we needed, apart from a draining board, and was in a very good location. However we were surprised to find on returning to the flat on two nights that someone had taken up residence in the doorway.. He was very polite about it and caused no trouble. 」
