"Let me get the negatives out of the way first:
I was super skeptical of having to use Aardvark Labs, as my booking forced me to use a 3rd party website. I even went through Vrbo support w/a live agent to confirm it was legit. It asks you to take pictures, scan your ID, etc so I was very on-edge of this being a scam.
But the Vrbo agent assured me this was legitimate, and that the renter went through their process, so I gave it a shot.
Another irritation is that even after going through...

"Great location! There are restaurants and a grocery store nearby. The parking was close to the apartment and it was very quiet. It has a funky loft like feeling and the large island was useful. We would definitely stay there again."
