“Our host, Yan was quick to answer questions and always so friendly. The unit is very tiny but had everything anyone could possibly need during their stay. Loved the view of Diamond Head as well as the Ala Wai canal. We loved eating at the local food trucks and the location was just across the street. The bus service is close and easy to navigate. We mainly walked everywhere but did have a car. Parking is quite expensive so we kept moving the car and was a bit of a hassle but nothing to get……

“Room was clean and neat. Had all the amenities needed to make our daily meals (we hate eating out!). Views were amazing! Close to EVERYTHING, both walking and driving. We were happy to have a parking spot after long days of the soaking in the sun and sand around the island. We loved our stay and we’re looking forward to coming back! ”

“I appreciated my stay - the internet was great, the AC unit was quiet as was the area surprisingly for being downtown Waikīkī, the space was a perfect amount for me, and the blinds on the windows were awesome! They work better than the ones I have at home!The fridge was smaller but perfect for a couple meals and drinks.The Pacific Monarch does have washers/dryers available on site but I did have to exchange cash for quarters to be able to use those facilities - luckily the front desk was more……

“Check in was super easy. The rooms were cute and tidy and the beds comfortable. Good water pressure in the bathroom. Kitchen was also cute. Desk staff were easy to interact with for the procurement of games room stuff. We played pool a LOT. Walk to shops and the beach was easy, Udon place down Kuhio is legend. Nicely off the really busy Kalakaua Ave so you can catch your breath a bit and enjoy the trees and occasional wild chickens. Will come back! ”

“Pool area was clean and also very unique. The hotel had a restaurant that was operated beside the pool so there was bar and atmosphere that was enjoyable. A few nights the hot tub was cool but the staff were helpful and quick to fix! ”
