This was a wonderful condo and setting. Alice, the owner, was a great help with an emergency I had just before coming down. Her property was immaculate and I was stunned by the view. Would recommend and def book again.

Great Views!

The beautiful views from this condo are of the marsh/intercoastal. Lots of birds and very peaceful. Quiet neighborhood. I was there in June and pleasantly surprised by the shady parking lot. Kitchen was well stocked. It was perfect and I will return.

Fabulous! Clean! What a view!!

The Only reason I was reluctant to 5 star overall is I can’t deny I’m such a fan of being right on the beach, salt air, hearing the ocean etc. but if you want to be just a short distance from both Crescent Beach and St. Augustine Beach as well as DT St. Augustine this is your place! Quiet, serene, So clean with a beautiful view and an awesome nearby fishing pier and nature trail.

Peaceful Oasis

My family and I stayed here for one week over Spring Break. It was everything it was advertised to be. My kids enjoyed the heated pool, although they were shocked it closed at 7pm. Alice was easy to communicate with as questions came up. We had fun at Crescent Beach (recommended by Alice), touring the Gator Farm and the Castillo, and seeing Old St. Augustine by trolley. We can't wait to visit again!

Wonderful!!

Enjoyed our stay tremendously. The condo was everything the pictures portrayed. The screened in patio overlooking intercoastal waterway was beautiful and in the mornings drinking coffee was so peaceful. A wonderful place to forget everything and just enjoy what God has given us. Alice is most gracious and there for any questions you may have before and during your stay. Can't wait to go back.

A QUIET GETEAWAY

THIS PROPERTY IS AN EXCELLENT CHOICE FOR ANYONE STAYING IN ST. AUGUSTINE. THE PLACE IS BEAUTIFULLY KEPT, CLEAN AND NEAT. YOU HAVE LOVELY VIEWS OF THE INTRA-COASTAL WATERWAY AND CAN EVEN SEE THE LIGHTHOUSE FROM YOUR PATIO. IT IS CLOSE TO OLD ST. AUGUSTINE AND YET FAR AWAY ENOUGH TO ENJOY PEACE AND QUIET WHEN YOU RETURN BACK IN THE EVENING. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS TO ANYONE WHO WANTS TO STAY IN A LOVELY CLEAN PLACE ANYTIME OF THE YEAR!

Serenity-need I say more...

Just what we needed, a place to Relax & Re-connect on vacation. Close enough to everything, yet far away to get away from it all. The Intercostal waterway was an experience to watch it change with the tides & sun rises. A home away from home, that hugs you from the moment you walk in, to its comfortable bed that tucks you in at night, with a wake up call to its cheerful decor. Alice the owner, is Fabulous to work with, good communication-the perfect Host - that's as Charming as her home! Highly Recommend- We loved it so much we spent the last two days on the other coast at her B & B in Cedar Key-You should check that out too! Becky & Bob O from Atlanta GA

Home away from home

The condo is so peaceful and has all the touches of being at home. We loved the view from the back patio and how spacious the condo is. The location was great...a short drive to the beach or into town. We really enjoyed it.

Excellent!!! We had an amazing vacation!!!!

I must say, this property was everything Mrs. Oakley ( Alice) said it was. It was so nice to stay in a rental that everything made you feel at home! From the kitchen to the linens!!! Often in other rentals, we have not have enough linens. This place had PLENTY!! Cooking in the kitchen was a treat as well. Everything i needed was there to cook! The views were an added bonus. We enjoyed sitting on the screen porch watching the boats, and wildlife. It was so relaxing. We are avid beach people, and it was just a short drive to get to the beach. We were completely away from the hustle and bustle of the tourist....but close enough to enjoy it!!! We will be back!!! Thanks again Mrs. Oakley!!!

Absolutely Beautiful!!

We loved this place!!! The vista was stunning. We enjoyed the morning sunshine, watching the different wildlife and boats go by each day. The condo was very clean, spacious and nicely decorated. It had everything you to need to make your stay perfect! Working with the host was terrific. She was very quick to respond to any questions you might have. We found the entire complex inviting and really enjoyed using one of the three pools at the end of an active day. We would highly recommend this place!!

My wife and I were totally unprepared for the beauty, cleanliness, decor, furnishings...everything that this condo had to offer us. We stayed a week (3/26/17 - 4/2/17), but would have loved to have just moved in on a permanent basis; or, at least stayed another couple of weeks had we the time, it was that lovely! The views from the back screened-in porch were absolutely the most peaceful and relaxing either one of us has ever experienced on a vacation. We enjoyed our coffee each morning out on the porch, watching the sun rise; then, with a glass of wine in the evenings, watching the tides come and go. This place even included binoculars so you can watch the magnificent wildlife that visits the shores and marsh along the inner coastal waterway, which is the back yard of this place. We can't say enough about it honestly...and the owner Alice is just a jewel. She was extremely informative; concerned that we found everything in order and enjoyed our stay by calling us a week after our return home. The community in which this condo is located is quiet, well maintained and situated close to everything one would need for an enjoyable "get away" experience. The residents, of which are mostly retired folks were courteous and very friendly. We were made to feel right at home, even though they knew we were just vacationers! We will definitely return to this gem of a vacation rental in the future.

This place is a gem!

We arrived on Dec.26, 2016 and spent a week at this beautiful condo. We were thrilled with this rental! It was immaculate and looked just like the photos on the website. It was near everything but, away from the hustle and bustle of downtown St. Augustine, as we needed to relax and have a quiet place to unwind in the evenings. Close to everything!

I rented this condo for a week. It looks just like the photos. It's clean as a whistle, well kept, and feels like home. It's close to everything, you can drive to the beaches, go downtown, or even hit the grocery store in 7 minutes or less. The beaches are gorgeous. The downtown area is stunning and the condo complex has private pools if you want to stay in. Tons of shops and restaurants in historic downtown. There really is a lot to do for a couple or entire family. I spoke with Alice on the phone when I booked my stay, she is so sweet and also owns Cedar Key Bed and Breakfast on the opposite coast. Great experience, I would rent again. Thank you Alice for the great experience, and I looked up your B&B online, I'm going there next it looks beautiful!!

Don't hesitate or think twice! Just do it!!

We have rented several properties from so called "professionals" (realty agents) over the years and have had some issue almost every time… This year we rented from VRBO and had an awesome experience, with no surprises! Our hostess was available to answer any questions, and the place was exactly what we wanted. I would recommend this property for anyone looking for a very nice, relaxing atmosphere, with a great view. It was clean and comfortable beyond our expectations. I would highly recommend this for an older family, as it is a quiet retirement community. St. Augustine is a beautiful city rich in history with several beaches nearby. Everything, including beaches and great restaurants, are just a short drive away. We would not hesitate to return to this property! Too bad we can only give it 5 stars…

Wonderful Place to Stay

We rented the condo with another couple for 8 days. The condo is exactly like the pictures that are shown. It was very clean and we had everything that we needed for a quiet, relaxing stay. The view is very nice and there is a wonderful screened-in porch. We found some very nice places to eat and the owner had a book with information on local establishments. We would definitely stay here again.

Alice's Condo

My husband and I along with another couple stayed for 8 days at the condo. The view was lovely with boats passing and many varieties of birds. The condo had everything needed for a comfortable stay. The beds and mattresses were clean as was the whole unit. We were just far enough away from St Augustine to avoid traffic but close enough to go into town for dinner although there were many good places near by. I would not return to the St. Augustine Golf Club down the road but there were many other courses around. The owner was very kind and considerate. We didn't use the pools so I can't speak to those. Do consider this condo if you are planning on being in the area.

Anniversary vacation

The VIEW and amenities blew us away. So much to do, and not enough time this trip. We will definitely be back! We were so close to everything, and we could just stay put and enjoy also. The kitchen had everything we needed. We loved having our morning coffee while enjoying the fantastic view and activity on and around the Intercoastal Waterway.
