"We were obsessed with this hotel. It was so pretty and eclectic inside, great art and decor in the rooms. Staff was so nice and the breakfast was to die for. We did a very impromptu whisky tasting and learned a lot- it was better than the whisky tour we did earlier in the week. We were sad to go and can’t wait to visit again! "

Apex City of Edinburgh Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Location is perfect! Easily walkable. Room is comfortable with amenities (hairdryer, shampoo, soaps, washcloths, etc). Close to Edinburgh castle, which was convenient for the tattoo. Would definitely stay here again. "
"A lovely hotel on St. Andrew’s Square. Elevators are a bit confusing, but easily manageable. Breakfast was delicious and there are many options. Old Town is just a stones throw away. Staff is exceptionally friendly and eager to help out.
I recommend this place to all!!!"
"Excellent location 3 minute walk to tram stop and grocery store. Walkable distance to royal mile. Spotless apartment with tea, coffee, water , milk provided. Only negatives were that milk expired during our 2 night stay and pillows are very bulky of you like a flat pillow. Other than that perfect. "
"The hotel room provided exactly what was promised on the website, a clean, well equipped space that gave us a comfy retreat from the rigours of the fringe. It's excellently placed, never more than twenty minutes walk from most venues, and despite being in the heart of Fringeland it was quiet and peaceful inside.
The staff were excellent, friendly and helpful, doing everything they could to make the stay go well."
