“Stayed in this cabin for three nights with my 12 year old dog for a little R & R. I can't say enough great things about this cabin. It was super cute, clean with everything I needed. The wooded area on Hayward Lake felt very private even though it was close to town. Very convenient to restaurants and shopping. Walking/biking path ran along the edge of the property. Bed was very comfortable. Heat and ac in the cabin with easy to use instructions. Check in and out process was easy. Great……

Hayward

“The cabin was just as described. Comfortable and well equipped. Perfect location, within walking distance to downtown Hayward. It's a little noisy because of the traffic on highway 27, but nothing bothersome. My only suggestion is maybe put a small wardrobe or hanging rack in the 2nd bedroom because there isn't a closet. My mom and I just shared the one closet and it worked out fine. We would definitely rent this cabin again. It is very nice.”

“This property was beautiful, relaxing and perfect for our family getaway! We had three families staying together — 6 adults and 4 children, all age 2 and under — and there was more than enough space for everyone to spread out comfortably while still having wonderful spaces to gather. The house was even better than the pictures — and the pictures are beautiful, so that’s saying something! We loved the beautiful old log-cabin decor combined with modern appliances, comfortable furnishings and……

“We were provided zero communication with the check in process until we reached out, still had to clarify which cabin we were in. Owners were kind enough to allow us to check in early to attend family functions. TV did not work, was not provided wash cloths, no oven mitts provided, and cobwebs galore over the entire walls. Warm water in the shower ran out after 10 mins. Appreciate providing a coffee maker, utensils, plates, and working appliances, a/c, heat, bedding, pillows, and decent space.”

“My wife and I stayed at Callahan’s Shore Thing cabin for a quick stay to celebrate our anniversary! It was perfect. The hosts were amazing with their communication and the cabin itself is perfect. The photos and descriptions are accurate but undersell how great the location is. The proximity to the water and the peaceful setting can’t be described. The Musky Lounge is perfect.
