"Good stay generally. The hotels doesn’t have many amenities. I booked last minute and got 50% off which I think was good value. I wouldn’t pay full price. The breakfast is ok. Yogurt was super sweet. Why not just have natural unsweetened? Also when I walked in I wasn’t offered anything although there was water, but would have been a nice touch if I was offered a glass a bubbles whilst checking in since it was standing there on the side. Free drinks and snacks in the room - nice touch. Room...

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Houstonian for a mini staycation. The grounds are gorgeous, the staff was amazing from the spa to the pool, to the bar and restaurant, and front desk. The food was amazing, the rooms were clean and comfortable and even with our adjoining door in our room we were not disturbed by our neighbors. "

"Love the place! It's pleasantly clean and spacious, and offers many amenities. The staff is super helpful and they know their jobs very well! The price is so good with such a place! The room looks exactly like the picture. It is just 10-minute walk from the nearest bus stop and around 17 minute drive from downtown. To the manager and staff, keep up the good work! "

"This was a very clean hotel. I loved the fact it didn’t have carpet . The night clerk was very friendly and accommodating. The only negative I could have used more pillow and some softer lighting around the sleeping area. But overall was a great place at an affordable price!"

"Very unique hotel decor. Part of the hotel is under renovation so I see some inconsistencies in amenities. For examples, different in room phone types, bathroom countertop, no toilet paper holder in the room I was in, etc. "
