Top Swadlincote Hotel Reviews

Hilton Garden Inn Birmingham Airport

Hilton Garden Inn Birmingham Airport

8/10 Good
"The hotel was fully booked, but I managed to secure the last available room, which happened to be an accessible room. Overall, the hotel appeared clean and well maintained. Unfortunately, the front desk staff were unable to provide any information about the hotel’s association with airline frequent-flyer programmes, which was disappointing. The biggest issue, however, was the cleanliness of the bathroom. The shower curtain had visible faeces on it, and judging by the appearance of the stain, it seemed to have been there for some time. This was extremely unpleasant and made me feel sick, to the point that using the shower was very difficult. The basin was also completely blocked. When I tried to clear it, numerous black particles came up and floated around in the basin, which was equally unpleasant. While the hotel itself appeared well maintained, the poor bathroom hygiene significantly affected my stay."

8/10 Good
"We stayed for two nights, and this wasn’t our first time staying at voco Leicester. Overall, the room was clean, although it could have been a little cleaner in some areas. The room layout was quite unusual, but in a good way — I’d say it was unique rather than strange. The bathroom was spacious and had both a rainfall shower and a handheld shower hose, which was a nice touch. The beds were really comfortable and made for a great night’s sleep. The room had everything you’d need for a comfortable stay, including a coffee machine, kettle, ironing board and mini fridge. The staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming throughout our stay. The only reason I’ve given the hotel 4 stars rather than 5 is the parking, which costs £20 per night. I feel this is quite expensive, especially for guests staying at the hotel. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would happily return to voco Leicester."
