Excellent stay in North Lake Tahoe

We had a excellent trip to Dollar Point. The weather didn’t work out but the property management company did a fantastic job communicating. House was as advertised and we would rent with them again.

4th of July in Tahoe

This was our first time in Lake Tahoe for a summer vacation. The location was perfect, Tahoe City gave us the great experience we were looking for. The small town feel, the easy access to waterfront and Truckee River for a lazy river float, was perfect. The Cabin was clean, equipped with everything we needed, did not have to bring anything extra. The Hotub was clean and ready to use the Moment we arrived. Suggestions could use some Full length mirrors, one of the bathroom sinks on the main floor needs to be lower as it created some splash when using. Overall a great experience and will use it again. Thank you

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The design of the house was perfect for our family of 6 adults and 8 children. We had a great stay but were disappointed to find problems in cleanliness, a broken freezer,broken glass in the bottom of the dishwasher, dry wall peeling over the bed in a master, washer leaking, and no washing machine detergent. BUT...The property managers were very responsive to fixing the problems (except for the dry wall, which appears to be the function of a water leak) so our enjoyment of the house was not impacted. Great location.

We came after the 4th of July week. The garbage bins were full to the point we couldn’t add any more. We we delighted that Tahoe north offered their dumpster to put garbage into until Thursday pick up. The floors were swept but still dirty. We mopped the floors. The refrigerator needs repair & we had to be very careful in closing. There were other areas needing repair but did not pose any kind of problem for us. We had the maximum number of people allowed and found the accommodations very acceptable. Working around the kitchen for the number of people was challenging. But with a cooperative spirit from everyone, it worked out fine. Back yard amenities, hot tub were great. Thanks for the opportunity to stay. Finding properties that accommodate our entire family is very hard to find.

Reviewer Comments: Nice place but a few thins like no corn hole game when they said it was provided some of the appliances were were broken one of the knobs to the stove was broken and one of the chairs in the movie theater was broken and furniture felt like out dated for the amount of the cost per night.and no Foosball which is in the adminities they said were provided.

Poorly built and not clean

Property was disgusting. Stains on the couches and bed sheets. Mold on the bathroom ceiling. Overall home was not cleaned well. Poorly designed home. Can’t even open the refrigerator door all the way bc it hits the island. Highly do NOT recommend this home.

The house was clean, the hot tub was clean and the back yard was perfect for our little ones to play. There was enough room for us all to spread out or be together in the kitchen area. There were plenty of dishes, pots, pans, etc. The kitchen was one of the best stocked kitchens we have seen. We will be back!

Enjoyable family stay

The house was perfect for our family to gather. Loved the deck with the view and the yard containing games (bocce court, badminton and corn hole were all a hit)! And the hot tub on the lower deck was lovely, looking out at the trees while relaxing cannot be beat. My son especially enjoyed the theater room. All in all a great stay. The only rec we have is that the blinds are not thick enough to block the early light out of the bedrooms.

Our Dollar Point vacation

Fabulous cabin…great accommodations for all! Towel racks would have been useful…floors extremely dirty, counters dirty, toaster didn’t work, theater a plus, need more washers, more kitchen towels, hot tub lovely, nice to have washer/dryer…coffee maker very slow drip…recommend a Keurig… we all had a great time! Nice to have our dogs with us as well!

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family and I come up every year to stay at Lake Tahoe. We plan our vacation a year in advance and stay in very nice homes. The photos of this home were great but very deceiving. Upon arrival, we could see that this home was not very well taken care of. Cobwebs everywhere, railings were very old and unstable, parts of the front of the house were missing. When entering the home, it was clearly not cleaned. The floors were not only covered in dirt, they were sticky, the showers had mold in them, the toilet wasn’t working downstairs, there was trash all over the back yard including a knife that my son found. Needless to say, We were unhappy that I had to spend the first 3 hours of my trip cleaning a house.We called the management company who was easy to deal with an tried to make it right. We are grateful for them but we wish these issues would have been mitigated prior to our arrival.

Photos Nicer Than Reality

Overpriced, not fully ready for rental. Too many bugs. Windows are broken or missing screens as well as window coverings. No A/C so imperative that windows open. Beware of next-door neighbor who does not like dogs barking or noise. Movie theater is very hot!

Very friendly neighbors! We did see one bear in the very early morning (about 6am) but he quickly ran away as soon as he saw us. We are in bear country after all! We all very much enjoyed our stay! It felt like a home away from home!

Reviewer Comments: Nice house but not worth $950/night when there were minimal essentials i.e. paper towels, toilet paper, towels, etc. The biggest complaint was the lack of privacy in the bedrooms/bathrooms, which did provide window coverings what-so-ever. The breakers kept flipping off for half of the house which connected the wifi, however, an electrician was sent and it was fixed but just something to note.
