"Hotel is good, staff is friendly and the location is phenomenal. In-house restaurants are meh...
We could not sleep properly during the entire stay. We were on the ground-floor, next to one of the door leading to the Pool. And it used to be noisy until past midnight, there was no enforcement of quiet hours. Guests used to scream outside our room all the time, even at night. Inside the hotel wasn't any better. There were conferences in the hotel every single day, and loud noises could be heard late into the night. The noise isolation in the rooms was terrible.
Parking is $30 everyday, even for the guests staying at the hotel. Public parking in downtown Clearwater is $20. Parking should have been free or at least subsidized for the hotel guest. Even the beach chairs and umbrellas are charged at $45+taxes per day. All these micro-transactions add up if you are staying for a while at the hotel. Pool is small, and not much recreational games or activities for kids.
Best part of the Hotel is its location and access to a pristine white sand beach."
