「Well the overwhelming smell of weed for our stay was not our biggest concern. It could have been either the fact that no one made sure the door on the end stayed locked and shut all the way or that I requested a room for 3 was given a king size bed and told a cot wouldn’t fit in the room. We had police one evening and 2 woman soliciting for drugs and sex. Mind you we were 3 women in town for a funeral. My 91 year old grandmother thought I was having money trouble and afraid something was gonna...

「Nothing for breakfast except coffee. Door on room did not fit well, allowing visible cracks that showed hallway. Sure seems like someone is living there as the food odors were very strong (and not good) at the same time each night. Check-in took too long, and check-out was even longer. People hanging around lobby during check-out made it very strange and the clerk said nothing so I assume they were related. I will NOT stay at this hotel again.」

「outdoor stairs were a fun adventure for us with a snow storm, but we made it. We really enjoyed the front porch and heater in there while resting and reading. 」

「Decent place to lay your head for the night. Nothing spectacular. Overall we were satisfied.」

「Clean and accommodating room. Unexpected amenities in bathroom. Everything worked as expected. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fresh and maintained even with the high volume of guests rotating in and out of the breakfast area. Will put this hotel at top of choices on our next visit to Shipshewana.」

「Room was clean, on first floor. Tree line prevented seeing the turnpike almost felt like in the country. Sign for hotel was smaller than expected, drove passed the first time. Breakfast was good, hot, with variety. Staff was friendly & helpful. If we come back to this area we will stay with Bestwestern plus!」

「There was a storm in the area which knocked out soem of the amenities like the TV, but that was not their fault. The staff had to unlock our room door for us as the card feature was not working. The staff had to work extra hard to accomodate people. The room was clean and comfortable. Good staff tryign to make the best of a hard situation.」
