「The George Inn was an excellent choice for our first night in England, due to its proximity to Stonehenge and the reasonable cost. All staff were attentive and helpful. 「The staircase to our room is winding, and I need to go up and down before arriving at my room. The wall is thin and is not very sound proof, so I can hear what next door's saying and TV noise. 「By sheer chance we ended up at the Three Cups - and it is a delightful family run traditional (as in 500 years old traditional) coaching inn. The food was fantastic, both at dinner time and breakfast. Very personal attention paid to everything. Beautiful gardens, with streams running through.
