We were able to enjoy the deck in the morning, watching the sunrise over the lake. The owners live on site and are friendly and responsive. Wish we could’ve stayed longer! 」

Location was great for getting to many of the sites we wanted to see ie: canandaigua, Hammondsport, Watkins Glen etc. the place felt clean and cared for and updated. Kitchen was well stocked. A bit small for 4 adults but adequate. The “living area” not as comfortable seating as I would have liked, but wouldn’t take it off my list or high score. Many good wineries and breweries within a short drive. Highly recommend staying at the Sheridan House if coming to Penn Yan!」

「Hi! Had a pretty good time at this location. Had everything we were looking for to make out time in the ithaca area pleasant. 2 small issues though. 1. The 'guest parking' accesses the property via a short but narrow flight of stone stairs which for an older person or someone with unsteady balance may be precarious.2. The owner who lives upstairs has at-least 1 cat and the rental space had a feline scent to it. As someone who is allergic to cats, that was an issue. I would recommend the owner...
