"The place was comfortable and quiet. I’m not sure of the cleanliness of the bedding as it didn’t smell fresh, but it didn’t smell used either! Overall it was pleasant for an overnight stay."

"The first room we stayed in had a broken tub faucet handle, which they had us moved to a different room. A nice gesture considering it was something out of our control. We were looking forward to a hot shower considering the spa they offered was not working and the indoor pool was ice cold. We slept well, the rooms were quaint, and the breakfast almost made up for the crazy night before. Until we got home and was charged the incidentals fee apparently to fix their broken faucet. Something that would have easily been noted by a housekeeper prior and the room not bookable until it was fixed. I've tried contacting the hotel, and calling their 800 number which gives you too an AI driven answering service that won't accept the itinerary number you're trying to give. Long story short, it seems if you want to have an experience where the hotel keeps on giving after you've left-This is the place to stay! I hope we see resolution, but so far all I've been given is people who don't want to deal with it, and give us another dead end number to call "

"This place is a hidden gem! Clean updated rooms, comfortable beds, and big screen TV with premium channels. Nice breakfast choices and good coffee. Friendly staff and good restaurants within walking distance! Get a room on the first floor and skip taking the stairs. 5 out of 5 stars all the way around. I would most definitely stay here again."

"The property was double booked, so we were not able to stay. The host reached out and offered to pay for the first night’s hotel room as a courtesy. Great communication until it came time to reimburse for the one night hotel room stay. It was never received. Realizing the gesture was a courtesy, however; it was just offered to diffuse the inconvenience that night. Very unprofessional to offer and then never follow through. Extremely disappointing. "

"House was beautiful and plenty big for all of us. Host was very responsive and helpful. They noted in their book that the house is under construction/facelift during the cooler months…and we could tell. We didn’t have curtains like in the pictures for the big windows in the front of the house and you can see through the windows from outside at night. We didn’t have the pool table, like shown in the pictures or the outside seating on the third floor. We are a sports family, so Friday night we gathered around the living room to watch college gymnastics on the TV and majorly had to sit on the floor, some brought in the red chairs from the balcony (be very careful sitting in them). They have the seating for eating down pat, but not for lounging to watch sporting events or movies as a group. Couch on the 2nd floor is lovingly used, it sinks in when you sit. No laundry basket for laundry, but loved the laundry shoot thingy on each floor! Beds were decent. Do not recommend people showering at the same time. View was beautiful. Home has great potential, all the small things matter and that’s what stands out. All in all we had a great time. The house was clean and no major issues. "
