Cozy and Warm
We have stayed in the Truckee area before, and this house is one of the best. Communication with the owners was fantastic. The accuracy of the listing and location was exactly as stated. It's clean, tidy, and has all the basic necessities.Notes to future renters: If you're looking for a relaxing tub, there is none, showers only (as stated). No vegetable peeler in kitchen amenities (possible user error). Shower head in downstairs bathroom does not work well (again possible user error). None of these things hindered our stay at all! If you are looking for an inviting, cozy home, this is it. Having two fireplaces in the house is really nice. The sunken conversational fireplace is warm and relaxing. The extra amenities such as keurig/nespresso pods, soda stream, kleenex and extra toilet paper were a delightful added touch. Our family of 5 with a fur baby enjoyed our stay immensely. It's convenient location to everything made for a fun, and memorable stay. The kids already want to stay here again. Thank you for opening up your home to us.
