"We often use this hotel when in London, when the rates are within our budget, (not always the case!). It is in a lovely position on the Thames, near the wonderful Borough Market, and many restaurants & Pubs. The decor is exceptional, not the usual corporate look. the staff are always friendly, and the design of the rooms just excellent. If it's within budget you won't regret it."

"Stayed in a superior twin room on the 5th floor, which was clean and comfortable, with a walk-in shower (important because I have mobility issues). It was on the small side but not cramped. The decor seemed to be fairly new and in good shape, of a dark gray neutral sort. Staff on check-in were friendly, quick and helpful. It's a massive hotel that takes huge tour groups, so there were several hordes clumped together in the lobby and in the street area outside; there is also no visible place to sit and relax in the lobby, which is designed to get a lot of people through check-in quickly. I was so glad to find there was express checkout! There are several restaurants in the hotel which I didn't try, and lots of restaurants in the immediate area. Very close to everything in Bloomsbury. There was street noise at night but nothing extreme. "

Bathroom looked brand new, free shampoo, conditioner, soap etc. Restaurant and bar also great , plenty of room to lounge. Tasty breakfast cooked to order. 5 stars "
