“I stayed this hotel for one night on 14 Oct, everything was fine at the benning, since it was a bit cold on that day, so I turned on the a/c to 23 degree for heating up the room and it was really good to me and my wife for going to bed, however, when we were in deep sleep condition while we were waked up around 3 AM in the morning by a freezing temperature at 17 degree shown in the a/c controller. we finally could not go back to sleep even though we had adjusted the controller back to 23……

“The main building is very impressive and the site is beautiful. The rooms which are located in separate buildings are quite simple and less stylish but ok. ”

“Great for staying overnight if visiting Coventry Arena on business. Only a couple of miles out. Basic, clean and friendly staff. ”

“Absolutely beautiful hotel and the staff are amazing. Hotel was centrally based right opposite the theatre. I emailed in advance about us being there for a birthday and we were given a room upgrade! The bar was lovely, we sat in the terrace as it was warm outside with the heating. Breakfast was amazing! Definitely recommend staying here. ”

“We were really disappointed on arrival as the hotel was covered in scaffolding and the entrance looked much more like a 1970s multi-storey carpark than a 4* hotel. The stairs (the lift was out of order), reception area and room were very dated. The soundproofing in the bathroom was non-existent (my wife could hear everything next door). Having said that the beds were comfortable, the staff were friendly and the breakfast was ok.”

“A shame the kitchen was closed as in every other respect this was a first class property. Not for people who want modern bricks and concrete but outstanding for those who like atmosphere and charm. Amazing value for money Staff could not have been more helpful ”

“We thought the actual hotel was fine, it was easy to find, there was plenty of free parking available and the members of staff we met were most helpful. The room was spacious and clean, the bathroom sink was almost blocked but we mentioned it to reception and I got the clear impression they would deal with it immediately! We only stayed one night but would stay again if we were in the area. ”
