“The property had a lake view and the inside was dated but clean. As we parked next to the house, the garage on the left (which belongs to someone else) had broken windows with junk inside the garage. Not a big deal but not a good first impression. The bathroom is very small and is directly off the kitchen. Kitchen and living room are adequate. Although there is an AC window unit in the window and if you sit in front of it, it is difficult to hear the tv. There is a train track by the house and……

“Location is awesome! Having the kayaks on property was terrific. Thank you for your help Casey. We loved that we had enough space and beds for everyone. Negatives- pictures for listing are really outdated. House was dirty. One of the beds was obviously not washed and looked slept in. Urine smell in downstairs bedroom. Oven and dishwasher do not work. House foundation is leaning to the left. Spiders everywhere- inside and out. We picked up and threw away metal prop, glass, and other stuff in……

“This is a nice enough property. I needed three bedrooms and multiple bathrooms. That’s hard to find. There were several issues: We paid a 150 cleaning fee. We were asked to put our used bed linens and towels in a provided laundry basket. This begged the question: if I didn’t put a towel or sheet in the basket, would housekeeping just leave it as clean? The house was clean from a cursory standpoint. The outside needed to be cleaned and tidied. The windowsills inside were buggy and……

“Only issue w/ the stay: Photos of the lake are from just outside of the park that is about 1/10 of a mile walk down a hill. Not visible from any part of the house/ property as the photo implies. My own fault for not reading into "by the lake" not "on the lake."”

“One of the nicest homes we’ve ever stayed in. Clean, beautifully decorated, convenient location, everything we were hoping for. Bonus for the outdoor seating areas, dock, sunset, and surprise snacks left for us by the host. Great experience and highly recommended. Thank you for sharing your home with us!”

“Cottage was very nice. Great set up .”

“This was the perfect spot for a getaway from the city for my bestfriend & I. The house was cute & clean. We brought our own paddle boards & were able to get some really beautiful days on the lake. The views, the water, the pictures are really how beautiful it is. Living the country life for a week was breathtaking. The host was super easy to contact & very helpful. We were also only 20 minutes from a great alpaca farm (my favorite)! Lots of wineries in the area & fresh produce. Check in was……

“This place has plenty of 5 queen beds to accommodate a large family. The family room is also spacious. The back patio has great shade on a hot day. We are a boating family with paddle boards and motorboat. The dock is easily accessed and spacious.”
