“We’ve booked one night here at first, then we decided to go there one day before and booked one more day. We told the reception lady when we arrived check in, she said it’s ok, no need to do the check in again and we could stay in the same room. The next day at ten mins before ten, a housekeeper locked on our door and told us to check out. We’re surprised and told her our case, she told us to check with the reception. Then the reception said we’ve to check out and come back by 4 to check in……

“Mercure Wessex is an older boutique style hotel offering amenities such as restaurant and bar among others. While it is an older hotel/building the location of the Mercure is excellent! Right on the corner of Hight St with all of the great shopping and food options and steps away from the Winchester Bus station the hotel has an. incredibly convenient location”

“Fabulous stay! A lot of though has gone through during the planning of the hotel setup. Facilities were top notch. My wife and I totally loved the food options and we made a point to try almost all of them. The Sunday roast was one not to be missed. The bar had a great team and absolutely loved the cocktails! Definitely be back if we are in the area. ”
