“Stayed with my husband and 9yo. We had a great time fishing, bird watching and making s’mores by the campfire. Recommend this cabin; also found it spacious for my family of 3. I’d love to come back in the warmer months to get in the river! The river water was beautiful. The cabin is well equipped, good layout and clean. The drive to town is easy. We enjoyed Gathering Grounds for breakfast in town and the caverns! Only thing I recommend is to bring towels and believe compact suv or crossover for……

“The Inn is very cozy and comfortable. Art was very hospitable and really took care of us. The morning breakfast was freshly made and tasted awesome. My only negative comment is that there are not many places to eat that are walkable, and most close very early. There is a nice steak/chop house next door but closes at 8:00 pm.”

“We enjoyed our stay overall, loved the cabin! The location was the only real drawback. The cabin sat very close to a road that has quite a bit of traffic and high speeds, so letting the grandkids outside by themselves was a problem..”

“Lovely cabin with lots of open space for the kiddos and dog to run and play. Close proximity to Shenandoah National Park and Luray Caverns. Property was clean and comfortable. Guest bed was not comfortable and sags/slopes in the middle. Master bed very comfortable. Enjoyed our stay.”

“The property was very nice. Well appointed and spacious. The fire pit was great and there was lots of firewood. We drove down to the river access and had a beautiful afternoon. I recommend a picnic down there! The house is within reasonable range from everything you might want. Use the property managers phone number for texting as email communication was spotty for us.”

“The TV went off at 10 pm so we couldn’t finish a movie we were watching. I wasn’t very happy especially the price we paid for such an old motel. ”

“This cabin fit exactly what we needed. It was in a central location to all of our weekend activities, and the cabin had plenty of space for everyone (8 adults). While it was in a quiet area, some of the neighbors dogs definitely don't know what quiet time is. And since we went in the winter, the trees separating the backyard from the neighbors back yard were bare. Meaning we could see directly into their house and they could definitely see us. Overall a great weekend!”
