Yosemite stay

A truly hidden gem. This location was so cental to our stay in Yosemite. Half way to every where. The place was so quite, inside and ourside, just great. Six of us stayed and it was perfect, lots of room and privacy. Could always find a place to get together or just find some privacy.

Negatives

Good overall but some negatives listed here: Fan in main hall is on reverse and could not be changed. Badly needed the fan as it was hot. Dish washing machine could not be used as the water was not draining. Need better instructions about the check in check out process.

Great View, Great Proximity to Park. Poor Communication.

I could not make contact with the property host through VRBO and never received any communication. After contacting VRBO Help, I was directed to a 3rd party property manager (Scenic Wonders) who was very helpful in getting me the check-in instructions and other property details (the property had been taken down from VRBO and I could not access details any longer). Once check-in was straightened out, the location and house were very nice. No A/C, but fans were provided. The bedding situation was a bit misleading with a futon mentioned in one bedroom that was not present. Would sleep ten comfortably, but understand that one sofabed is in the main living area.

Great location, beautiful views. Challenging driveway not for the timid.

Lovely house. Plenty of room to spread out. Very comfortable. Yosemite West is a great location. Very convenient to the park. The driveway is steep and narrow but we did ok with it.

Great home with nice view and easy access to park attractions

Overall, this house was perfect for our needs. Being in the park we were a short 30 to 45 minutes from most of the great hiking trailheads. I would have given five stars if the parking situation was better and if the instructions on where the business center was located were better. We were also unsure what to do with recyclables upon departure. The house was very clean. Beds comfortable. View very nice. Lack of wifi can be considered a plus for those wanting to disconnect from the news for a bit.
