"No-frills, small hotel (eight rooms?) run by a very friendly and fluent German couple. Clean and comfortable. Breakfast is not included but is easily obtainable in the neighborhood. Fantastic location adjacent to the Piazza della Signoria (although ongoing construction makes the entrance a bit difficult to find!)."

"The hotel is in a building with a hostel and other hotels. But the lift takes you to a beautifully old-fashioned hotel on the top floor without any noise from lower down. The breakfast room is particularly attractive, with paintings and a view to the Cathedral and Palazzo Vecchio. Breakfast was great too. The staff couldn't have been more helpful (we much appreciated the umbrella they lent us!)"

"The hosts were very friendly. I was only in the city for two nights but my host took the time to map out all the major attractions in the city, some that were away from the city center and gave me the best recommendations for where to eat(where the locals eat). Great experience! "

"It was 75 plus stairs to the office and I am 76 years old. I just about died carrying my luggage up the stairs. "

"We had the shared bathroom to ourselves so that was a bonus. The room had a fan, no a/c. WIFI wasn't working properly. Loved how the French-style doors opened onto a shared balcony. Also liked having a sink in our room. Very close to the train and bus station, which we needed. The hallway was under renovation so it was very dusty and the elevator wasn't working...the hotel is on the 2nd floor; okay for me but inconvenient for my daughter that had two heavy suitcases."

"None treble. The odor from toilet unbearable , the owner refused to change rooms. Shower soo tinny water run over toilet. Bad bad. Glad was only one night!!!!!!!"

"Failed to acknowledge my email advising them of my eta...so I had to call in the end and was met with annoyance from the lady. When I arrived, they then confused me for someone else...quite noisy in the street outside"
