"Stopped two nights, one on a package. Very comfortable hotel, nice rooms, friendly staff. Couple of observations: only one chair in a room for two people, loads of space for a second. Nowhere to put your open suitcases, except on the floor, what happened to good old fashioned luggage stands? "What a place. This is by far the best small hotel I have stayed in for a long time. On arrival the team member checking us, had the process complete in under 2 minutes. We had lunch in the bar, luxury furniture and great selection of alcohol if you wanted it. There was a limited small menu offering a good selection of meals all of which could be personalised. "Greeted by a lovely receptionist who gave lots of information about the stay. Nice modern room with aircon and a nice size shower. The bed was on the hard size for me. I can see why the room came with earplugs two packs would have been nice since I had to give them to my partner so I was left hearing others move about. Nice not to worry about parking. Will stay again."

"We used this as we were attending a wedding nearby. The hotel is easy to find and there is parking only down side you have to pay to park but it’s not the hotel who make the charge. The staff were very welcoming and the room was clean. There was a lovely walk in shower with toiletries provided. My only criticism was the bed was a little high to get into."

(Tree x2) Its positioned itself to become attractive for investment and although only a single night was plesemtly surprised. Room large and clean. Bathrokm was a little small for the size but not really a issue. Materials in bathroom were budget but good condition Didnt try resturant, tesco accross.the road."

"I love village hotels. I think they're the best chain to stay in. Always good standards with great facilities. However, although we had a nice stay, and the staff as always were great, this one has seen much better days. It was very worn and looked tired. The carpets throughout need replacing. Wallpaper was coming off the walls in the halls. Our rooms were nice, but just need a bit of tlc. A nice stay, but the hotel needs some love"
