"What a wonderful location on a hill with a stunning view all day the rooms were great and all the amenities were top knotch my were where a huge family ranging from grandkids to grandparents everyone had a blast and didnt want the weekend to end, futhermore the host were so kind and extremely helpful we will be lookimg foward to our next trip"

"Nice little room behind the house. The yard was nice. It would have been nicer if the the pateo furniture had been cleaned off so that we could have sat out there. My wife would have liked a little more light in the bath sink area."

"This is our favorite place to stay in Amador County. The hotel is a gas, very old timey and well maintained. We made dinner reservations and the food and service and atmosphere were impeccable! Don't miss the cute underground bar below, you'll feel like you're in a speakeasy. Great cocktails. We love the location right on Main Street, plenty to do. "

"Food was good but is not really healthy. We had the pizza and donuts and popcorn. Which we all enjoyed. We brought our own ice chest with sodas and waters and a couple of snacks. Theres a mini fridge in the room and a microwave on each floor in the vending room. The customer service and room was great. We really only booked for the water park when we were researching this hotel. Which my kids and husband and I enjoyed. We went in the middle of the week and were there early so the lines were...

"Location is easy to find and property also right on waterfront. For strolling round by foot are not recommend rather go by car. "

"Our stay at the HIE in Jackson was nice. The service was attentive and the room was clean. Breakfast was as expected with the options slightly changed up over our stay. I visited the exercise room. It's quite dated and one of the TVs didn't work. I'll live. Overall, nice stay. "
