"Beautiful facility - we stayed in the lodge which some spots needed repair work. Not walkable or really close to town or train - need a car, as local taxis took a while to come. No shuttle available. Restaurant is excellent, breakfast was good. We are going back - will have a car next time. "

"Stayed in the hotel before and had enjoyed that stay. So felt it was best to book there again. This time the room I was allocated had a shower over a bath but having a disability made it impossible to use. The bathroom floor creaked quite badly every time anyone were to walk over it. The bed was comfortable and room was decent although there was marks on the walls. "VERY large room! We had room 15 with a balcony and 2 twin beds. The bathroom was big, has heated floors and a heated towel rack, and good water pressure in the shower. In the closet, there was also spare bedding and a disabled seat for the shower. The beds weren't my favorite, but they did the job. Nice cookies with the coffee pot. It feels like a little apartment. Reception staff was very friendly and helpful. We had dinner there, and the haggis was tasty - very meaty, light on the oats....

"First time booking holiday inn on hotels.com rather than holiday inn app, I thought our room was not as nice as my precious stay's. Also the room was missing the tv remote but I did not tell reception until morning when checking out as we arrived so late at night. The staff did apologise and are all friendly. "
