"All of the staff were very friendly. Jacks restaurant downstairs was excellent, especially the breakfast. 👏 We ate there once for dinner (Kobe beef sliders and Calzone) and three times for breakfast (omelet and Eggs Benedict and French Toast). There was a mixup in the beginning with the rooms (wrong room type and were not available till 5pm). But overall a great experience. "

"on this trip we travelled with teens. teens can be loud... but even though they were constantly talking and laughing (just being kids) you could not hear anything from outside the room. this is the quietest hotel i have ever been to. (its the construction i believe). in other hotels i had a hard time resting because you could just hear everything. sweet dreams when you stay here! "

"My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights and loved it. Everything about this hotel is so charming. The lobby, the courtyard, the rooms- all embodied that quaint bed & breakfast vibe that Carmel by the Sea is known for. From the moment we checked in (thank you, Alex, for the great service and complimentary welcome Rosè!), to the moment we checked out and everything in between, the service was warm, friendly, and professional. We will definitely be staying here again the next time we come to...

"Had a lovely stay at Bernardus once again! Nice, cozy and accommodating rooms made a nice relaxing stay. We went to the spa one day and all the services were lovely. We also ate at the restaurant and bar and had some great meals. Overall, staff was friendly and we enjoyed our visit. Only small nit would be that during our stay there seemed to be quite a bit of younger children (4-6 year olds) and they were running around quite a bit during the morning & day. It didn't bother us but I did notice...
