"We’ve stayed here before and it’s always pleasant. Just the basics but clean, efficient and the staff are always very helpful. Dunkin’s is right up the street so that is always helpful "

"Pros: Nice hotel and the room was sizable for NY which is one of the reasons we picked this hotel. Cons: gnat like flies, mostly in the bathroom but a few in the room area. No killing them off, because more just show up. The hotel says they are working on the problem. Hopefully will be fixed soon"

"Very confusing security deposit method, paid $143 when I was told I’d pay $40. Breakfast menu is alright, they don’t tell you buffet is extra. Friendly staff"

"Convenient location for Grand Central Station when a good price is available. Nice rooms reasonably spacious by today’s standards. Our room had a nice new bathroom."

"There was duct tape holding the bathroom vanity together and the towel hook in the bathroom was barely hanging on. E didn’t have any body wash on the first night."

"My room was clean and housekeeping was very meticulous in their upkeep of the room. The front desk staff was also very professional. It’s convenient to have the coffee shop and restaurants downstairs, as well. The main downsides were the lack of a gym in the hotel and the sometimes loud street noise coming from 23rd street. If you can, ask for a room that doesn’t face 23rd unless you are a very deep sleeper! "
