"Nice, secluded hotel and spa. The rain prevented us from much use of the outside areas. Room was a good size and breakfast very good. Shower could have used a little more power and maybe a sofa would have improved the room. But, would most definitely stay again if in the area"

"Staff are vey attentive, polite and respectful. It is a very relaxing place to stay, peaceful, beautiful and clean throughout the Hall. Rooms are a very good size and very clean. We never tried the restaurant but if the standard of meals from the bar/grill, which we had, are anything to go by, I have no doubt they will also be delicious. Breakfast excellent range of choice and again delicious. We have previously had afternoon tea here and Highly recommend it and also staying here. Great stop...

"Very much a Ghosts of Motley Hall hotel. I had to walk up 3 flights of stairs to get to my room yet the hotel seemed to have very few guests - not sure what that was all about. The staff do try their best but the place seems to be run by management from an Agatha Christie novel. My room had such a tiny bathroom too."

"Nice enough hotel, a little tiredaround the edges. The main problem for me was the wifi was not brilliant, i could not attach large files on emails and watchinf a film was lagging all the time."
