"All staff we encountered were exceptional. Room was super clean. Breakfast was a great way to start the day and the location was excellent- within 20 minute walking distance to many popular spots (Rogers Center, Scotia Bank Arena, the mall, many restaurants and bars) We did not have a vehicle but did notice parking garage across the street. "

"The 4-star rating at Union Hotel is a joke and does not reflect reality. Do not book here. We arrived at 2:00 a.m. after a delayed flight with a reservation confirmed over a month in advance. Despite this, the front desk told us no room was prepared. We were forced to wait in the lobby while they hastily cleaned a room that had only just become vacant. Being told at 2:00 a.m. that a confirmed booking isn't ready is a total failure of their system. The rest of the stay was equally substandard. The Wi-Fi was non-functional the entire time, forcing me to rely on my own cellular data for essential tasks. Breakfast was poor, with low-quality food and undrinkable coffee. To top it off, the staff showed zero accountability. When I raised these issues, they dismissed me by claiming they couldn't offer compensation because I booked through Expedia. This is a pathetic excuse for a service provider. The Union Hotel is responsible for the quality of the stay regardless of how the room was paid for. They take your money but fail on the most basic hospitality standards. Stay elsewhere."
