“This is a little gem ”

“This hotel is part of the Best Western Sure Collection. I have stayed here several times before and not been disappointed. I am delighted to say that this stay was no different but actually exceeded expectations. The staff on reception were so friendly and welcoming. I booked in for an evening meal. My room was around the back where there was additional parking in from of the lodge. My room was a suite with a proper full size, king size bed. There were welcome gifts on hand and the whole room……

“It was very cold in the hotel room, although I had set the temperature to be higher it was in vain. It was warmer in the corridor than in the room”

“Clean room (apart from some marks on the carpet by the bed), staff were very nice and let me enjoy my full meal at the firepit restaurant although I was running late, amenities are great and you can enjoy the pool and gym until midnight!! 10/10.”

“Overall it's good. The service is excellent, and the room is cosy. But there was only one drawback which we met a private party. Therefore, the spa, Sunna cannot used as much as we can.”

“Beautifully refurbed. Bed was comfortable and had lots of amenities....nespresso coffee machine, selection of teabags, water, complimentary beer, biscuits and toiletries. Breakfast was great and all members of staff were friendly and helpful. ”

“It was great for a 1 day countryside trip, we had dinner at their pub and it was overall good, there is also another cute local pub within walking distance with live music!”

“it is in the old town center and just next to the main attractive points like cathedral. as it is a building over 500 years old, so no lift but wooden stairs only (but this is the reason i stay here). Shared toilet and bathroom is good (and you can enjoy the cathedral view when you are "relaxing"). ”

“The good sides:Very Spacious! Well equipped, car park available. Those need to improve : Not too clean, e. g. Some spider web inside room, on the door knob... No curtain around the bath tub in the master bedroom... Hotel.com didn't inform us clearly the check in procedure - e. g. We need to contact the staff by phone for a password to the key safe! ”

“Comfortable, clean accommodation, great breakfast and a welcoming host. Car parking and being within walking distance of the city are real plus points.”
