“We were given an apartment rather than a room. It was very spacious, comfortable and fitted out to a high standard. We were provided with a fantastic selection of food to make breakfast. The staff were lovely and the hotel is very central in Montrose town centre.”

“After the hustle and bustle of the city, Chapel of Barras was just what the Dr. ordered. I’m traveling for pleasure, but also to finish a book I’ve been putting off, and this was a perfect stop. It was peaceful, quiet, perfect for my early morning yoga—followed by a delightful and filling homemade breakfast—a couple hours walking, then plenty of uninterrupted time to put pen to paper. Michelle and David were especially lovely: 10/10 would recommen. ”

“Staff were fabulous, room spotless, breakfast was amazing, only slight hiccup was I specifically phoned the hotel after making the booking to ensure I wanted a twin room as was with my daughter, I was told this was added to the notes etc so was pretty disappointed to see a double bed!! Luckily there was a spare twin room available which we were able to swap to, other than that everything was excellent. ”

“Good stay as always at Westhill however a bit of stand off trying to get my receipt. I stay there around 6 or 7 times a year and always pay at property as I need to add on dinner and drinks. The lady at reception was NOT for handling over a receipt !! Eventually got it ”
