「Pretty basic but comfortable and well located for onward travel. Great food at the adjoining pub.」

「The Inn has an antiquated toilet- the type where the water tank is up high then you pull a chain to flush. Light fixture in the bathroom is a chain pull as well. Although old everything worked as it should. The food at the Inn was especially good. Good value accommodation. 」

「Our room was clean and comfortable - very charming. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Loved the quaint atmosphere - the meals in the gastropub were very tasty. The only concern we had is that the bed was a little too hard for us and the pillows too soft - but features like that are very subjective so that might not be a problem for you! The Inn is situated on a main road so can get very busy at times. Our room did overlook the road but once the window was closed and blinds drawn it was quieter....

「A great inn in Edingbrugh. We stay for 3 nights with two rooms. The breakfast is wonderful and the bad is very comfortable. The room is equipped everything we need during our stay. Though no lift to the 2nd floor and 3rd, we still enjoy this small old building. However the street noise can be heard clearly that might put you sleepless whole night, especially over weekend. We could leave lugguages for half day after check out and help make our walking tour on Royal mile easier. Thank you...
