Douglas was very helpful and gave us excellent advice on restaurants and attractions like Melrose Abbey, Abbortford House, and of course, the many walking paths. My childhood friend and I had a beautiful vacation. I wish we had had more time to spend there.」

「We loved our stay at The Yair. We booked it for its proximity to the river Tweed for fly fishing and found that the river runs past the property; complete with fishing hut and a gillie! The property’s owner was great in his communication and was available for anything we needed. It was fascinating to learn from him about the history of the property. Our cottage was beautiful and the hot tub was a nice addition. We would stay here again, independent of fishing.」
