“Exploring trip with friend. Great location & service. The reason for 1 star deduction was for 2 things…doors are noisy (expected in old house) & clawfoot tub wasn’t easy to shower in. Having said that, let me sing Heathers praises. From restaurant recommendations to tip on touring Bullington gardens she provided us with good stops. This was my second time staying here & I enjoy the front porch wine/snacks & the made to order breakfast included in room price. I would request a remodeled……

“We had a lovely stay at this charming inn. It is not "pristine" as the main part of the inn is very old... but therein lies its character and charm. The inn and its grounds are lovely and the large window in our room provided a gorgeous view of sunrise over the mountains. Very convenient to Hendersonville with plenty of restaurants and cute shops. But there are so many great spots at the inn - both inside and outside - I equally enjoyed time just reading a book and enjoying the views. ”

The host and staff are very friendly and accommodating. They provide two choices for breakfast each morning. The meals are delicious. “We loved staying in the Patriot room at the Yellow House. The fireplace in the room and the deco was very warm and inviting. The fridge was stocked and the glass of wine was a great added touch. Our host, Chad, was super accommodating and prepared a delicious breakfast! We would definitely recommend this to our friends and family. We would return again. ”

“The room was a nice size with 2 glider chairs, a desk and queen bed and room to move around!! The breakfast was delicious and very filling. The grounds with a mountain view were great for sitting and relaxing, in the morning we were lucky to see a ground hog sitting up in the yard. Brenda and Peter were the perfect hosts with being there if you needed anything. ”

“This place is great! You would never know you are only 10 minutes or so from a busy town. It’s the best hide-a-way spot right next to the river. We chose a cabin with hot tub and river view. The cabins are unique tiny homes with thoughtful details. Very clean and homey feeling. Gas fireplace, outdoor fire pit, hot tub (excellent), kitchen with some pots & pans, dishes, silverware, coffeemaker (including coffee/tea/sugar/cream), dishwasher, full size refrigerator, range and microwave.
