“This is a resort where big tour buses bring large groups of people. A lot of young people to senior citizens are accommodated. They have more than the advertised continental breakfast. They have a large pool. It is in walking distance to Colonial Williamsburg. Our room was large and comfortable. It was quiet and secure. Parking was a little challenging in the evenings if you have walking issues but there was plenty. I would stay there again.”

“Great weekend stay. Clean, spacious room. We could all spread out in our own space-really like how the room was setup. Nice fridge, sink area. Pool was a nice size-my only concern was the flooring held the water and no one came in to mop it up, as far as we could tell (the next morning when we used it there were still puddles). Breakfast area was nice. Good options. Never saw the tables being wiped up after use, which would have been a plus. Front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. We……

“This hotel has absolutely massive rooms by today's standards and shares all amenities with the much more expensive Williamsburg Inn and Williamsburg lodge. The tradeoffs are that you will not have a front desk and the furniture and finishes are much older. The reality, however, is that the tradeoffs are 100% worth it. The cost is half that of the Lodge and half to 1/4 of the cost of the Inn. You can still use the pool, spa, tennis courts, fitness facilities, concierge, ticket discounts, and……

“We stayed in Room 3, if the other rooms were as great as ours then it would be hard to beat this location. The view of the river and sunset were awesome. The restaurant service would be hard to beat anywhere and the food was excellent. All in all we loved our stay at Surry Seafood Inn.”
