Calm, quiet, personal, and nothing about it is commercialized like other hotels from chains. It's almost like having a house to yourself. "Comfortable and quiet and great surroundings of a pine forest:-) No noisy neighbors everyone was courteous. My only problem was that the shower door has a 1/4 gap between panels and water got all over the floor when we used the shower. WE ate at the steakhouse which we enjoyed very much except that my husbands steak was tough. The waitress gave us a free dessert to compensate:-) I suggest they take Ranchers Steak off the menu as it is NOT a good cut of beef as they claim. Just a chuck eye steak...

"Check in was fast. We had requested rooms on the ground floor. We were told there are none, and were given rooms on the upper floor. I have a hip replacement and my husband has a torn calf muscle. We had to struggle to get the luggage upstairs. No help was offered. The second room was on the other side of the building. Asked for another pillow and was told we only get what is in the room. "
