Year End Getaway

We were looking for a good place for a quick year end getaway. This place was great. Me,my wife, and our 3 children had a wonderful time. Beautiful home, with plenty of room and conveniently located. I would highly recommend.

Loved the scenery and thoughtful amenties

The place was super clean and super pet friendly. What i loved most was that there were so so many thoughtful amenties from toiletries to coffee and spices to streaming services. the hot tub super clean

Cozy & Convenient!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is my third time staying at this cabin and it’s just a very clean, spacious, and great location. The slopes, village, grocery stores are all less than 10min away. Super roomy place to stay with a few couples or family of 6.

Beautiful View, but Disappointing Experience

I had high hopes for this property, especially since I grew up visiting Big Bear. After losing my husband 7 years ago, I wanted to create new memories while celebrating my birthday. The pictures of the house were stunning, and the view truly lived up to the expectations—it was pristine and lovely.However, my experience was marred by a few significant issues. I was assured that Big Bear is very pet-friendly, but I quickly discovered that dining options were limited for those with pets. We spent much of the morning calling restaurants, only to find that most did not allow pets or had closed patios. Eventually, we found one with a heated patio, but it was still quite cold outside.Inside the house, things were not as impressive as I had hoped. While the view was breathtaking, the interior didn’t match the photos, and the bedrooms were just okay. The most disappointing aspect was the lukewarm shower. Despite reaching out to the host about the hot water issue, we found that it remained lukewarm throughout our stay. After a long day in the snow, a hot shower would have been a much-appreciated comfort.Additionally, our journey from San Diego took about 5 hours due to traffic. I was hopeful that a late check-out at noon would be possible, but I was informed that another group was arriving that day. I understand the need for turnover, but with check-in at 4 PM, I wondered if a little flexibility could have been offered.

1. the carpet in the living area - dirty and damaged2. no dishwasher pods3. no laundry liquid 4. bunk bed - dangerous to sleep in5. an open outlet 6. wet towels 7. refrigerator water filter not changed8. very dark house 9. not properly working dishwasher, took hours 10. not working dryer11. dusty lighting lamp in the dining area12. dusty windows screensOur stay was not good. Many things upset us. Therefore, my advice to future guests, read my comments and check if all mentioned items are fully fixed prior your arrival etc. My advice to Management company - check how your cleaning team do a job and supply the house. My request to owners, do not leave at home not working equipment. We love rent homes in this neighborhood. Most of the times our experience was good, but this one really upset us. We paid double price because of the stay beginning Dec 31. We expected to enjoy it, relax and didn't think about buying supply for a dishwasher, or laundry (which is not working properly), and being upset about not working amenities. The bunk bed was dangerous to use because it stands unsteadily and make hard noise when trying to change the sleep side. I hate dark houses, this one was a very very dark home. We barely could see each other after sunset, at evening time. The dishwasher was with the sign "Sorry, we are dirty". How should I understand it? We are not a family who likes using one time plates, cups etc. When I wanted to use a dishwasher I realized that was no clea

Family Friendly Vacation Home

All the rooms are clean and the set up is very cozy. I would definitely stay here again.
