The apartment includes a modern bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen with a coffee maker, and two inviting bedrooms, making it an ideal retreat for a memorable stay.
The Space:
This spacious top-floor apartment, set on the third floor of a beautiful Regency building, with newly decorated communal areas for 2025, offers a relaxed seaside stay just across the road from the beach. Close to coffee shops, cafes, pubs, restaurants, crazy golf, and the Volk's Railway, it’s ideally located for exploring and enjoying Brighton’s lively Kemptown neighbourhood.
The newly renovated, fully equipped white gloss kitchen is designed with a modern flair and is ideal for cooking for family and friends. It includes an oven and hob, a fridge with a freezer box, and ample space for preparing meals. You’ll find all the cookware, cutlery, glassware, and crockery you need, along with complimentary tea, coffee, sugar, and cooking basics.
The large living room features a cosy corner sofa and two velvet chairs, plus a dining table for up to four guests, creating a welcoming and sociable space. Equipped with a Smart TV, this area is perfect for relaxing, chatting, watching a movie, or enjoying meals together. From the window, take in the lovely sea views and Brighton’s beautiful sunsets.
The two spacious bedrooms offer plenty of storage for personal items during your stay. The first bedroom features a double bed, while the second has two singles that can be set up as a king-size bed if preferred. Fresh bed linen is provided for all guests, ensuring a comfortable night’s sleep.
The recently refurbished bathroom is clean and contemporary, stocked with complimentary guest toiletries, large bath towels, and hand towels for all guests.
Just a two-minute walk to the beach and a few minutes from Kemptown’s vibrant shops, pubs, restaurants, and unique boutiques, this apartment is in a fantastic location. The centre of Brighton, with its fabulous shopping, rich cultural scene, and electric nightlife, is just a 10-minute stroll away, making this an ideal base for your Brighton getaway.
Guest Access:
Guests have access to the whole property privately to themselves for the duration of their stay. Access details will be provided prior to your arrival.
Please note: this is a 'split-level' apartment with the entrance (and laundry room) located on the 2nd Floor and the main living space up on the 3rd Floor.
There are approximately 55 steps to the 3rd Floor and the building does not have a lift.
Strictly no parties or late night noise.
The Neighborhood:
The Kemptown area of Brighton has a lovely community feel to it. With an array of eateries, bakeries, coffee shops and independent stores, it has always been a vibrant part of Brighton. A wonderful afternoon can be had simply strolling along the main street, stopping for coffee, browsing a book or antiques shop before heading down to the seafront. The house is only moments away from Brighton Pier and the beach too.
Just a short walk to the city centre, it is a wonderful location for any length of stay. The centre of Brighton with all it's amazing attractions including great shopping - from big stores to small independent shops, some fantastic restaurants, bars, Brighton Pier, the i360, the Museum and Art Gallery are all easily accessible.
Nearby, on St George's Road, we would recommend: Nanima Asian Kitchen, Pizzaface pizza, and Necot Coffee Shop.
A pharmacy and supermarket are also close by with a large Asda supermarket at the Marina, or a Morrisons on St James Street for even easier shopping.
Brighton, a lively city on England’s south coast, is a blend of cultural vibrancy, historic architecture, and seaside allure. The Brighton Palace Pier, with its classic amusements, rides, and eateries, is a quintessential experience for visitors. Brighton Beach, lined with its signature colourful beach huts, is popular for sunbathing and enjoying the coastal breeze, with the tantalizing aroma of fish and chips ever-present.
One of the most unique features of the city is the Royal Pavilion, a former royal residence with striking Indo-Islamic architecture and lush interiors. Surrounded by the Pavilion Gardens, it’s a stunning reminder of Brighton’s royal connections and rich history.
Shopping in Brighton is unparalleled, with the bohemian North Laine full of quirky independent shops, vintage stores, and cafes, and The Lanes offering a labyrinth of alleyways filled with jewellers, boutiques, and high-end restaurants. The city’s food scene caters to all tastes, showcasing sustainable, plant-based fare and international cuisine.
Known for its dynamic nightlife, Brighton is home to a mix of pubs, bars, and nightclubs, as well as venues that host live music, theatre, and comedy. The city’s artistic and inclusive culture is celebrated through annual events like the Brighton Festival, Brighton Fringe, and the renowned Brighton Pride, making it a hub for creativity and acceptance.
Bordered by the scenic South Downs National Park, Brighton offers not just urban excitement but also opportunities for outdoor adventure, making it an ideal destination for visitors looking for a multifaceted experience.
Getting Around:
Brighton is well-connected and accessible, making travel to and around the city straightforward, whether by train, coach, or car. For those travelling from London, regular train services run from London Victoria, London Bridge, and St Pancras International, reaching Brighton in just around an hour. The city is also conveniently close to Gatwick Airport, just a 30-minute train journey, while Heathrow Airport can be reached by coach or a combination of rail and coach services.
If travelling by coach, National Express provides routes from London, Heathrow, and other major UK cities, arriving at Pool Valley Coach Station near the city centre and seafront. For those driving, Brighton is accessible via the A23, which links directly to London and the M25, while the A27 connects Brighton to other coastal towns. Parking in the city centre can be challenging, so using Park & Ride services or parking in larger car parks on the outskirts is often a better option.
Once in Brighton, navigating without a car is simple. Brighton & Hove Buses operate a comprehensive bus network, serving not only the city but also surrounding areas, with day tickets and contactless payment available for added convenience. The city’s compact nature makes walking an excellent way to explore, with many attractions, shops, and restaurants within easy distance of each other.
Cycling is another popular option, with dedicated cycle lanes and the BTN BikeShare scheme, which allows you to hire bikes from docking stations across the city and along the seafront. For longer journeys or evening outings, taxis and rideshare services are widely available and provide a convenient mode of transport.
For those wishing to explore beyond the city, public transport can take you to the scenic South Downs National Park and surrounding countryside. Whether you choose to walk, cycle, or use public transport, Brighton’s size and excellent connectivity make it easy to discover and enjoy everything this lively coastal city has to offer.
