“Codax retreat was a fantastic home for our family of 14 people (ages 2-60). We did have to get creative with sleeping situations with kids as some of the sleeping areas are in the loft which is very open. We comfortably slept 8 adults in beds and 2 kids in the bunk beds. The other four kids slept on kid air mattresses (not provided). The 2.5 bathrooms were great to have. The open space was great and the garage - the kids LOVED. “We had a marvelous 3 night stay at the lake. Grill and kitchen were great for cooking. The lake is quiet and calm- very relaxing. The screened room was so nice to beat the afternoon sun and mosquitoes in the evening. Things to know: The area around the dock is not good for swimming. The stairs are steep and narrow. ”

“We stayed at this beautiful property winter of '25. Although lake properties are traditionally a summer getaway we loved every minute of our winter retreat.
