“We booked an all-inclusive package. Upon check-in, we were informed that dinner reservations were required. We specifically asked which restaurant served seafood and lobster in the evening, only to find out later that all lobster dishes came with an additional charge. The breakfast was a buffet, but the variety was quite limited. The only commendable aspect was the staff’s friendly and professional service. However, one downside is that all tourism-related personnel in the area, including hotel……

“I would have given it a perfect 5 stars but the bartenders would not customize my drinks to my specifications. They cited having to follow their own recipe for inventory purposes. I loved their mezcalitos and margaritas. But their daquiris and pina colada were not creamy or sweet enough for my American palette. The best part was how cold the air conditioning was in the 6 bed dorm room. Not even the mall (undergoing construction) was as cold. Please make sure to wear sunscreen (especially on……

“The room is clean. A terrace bar right outside my room. Quite convenient if you are lazy to walk out for drinks; you can just grab one at the bar. The noise doesn’t bother much coz the bar closes at 11pm. Good location, easy walks to the marina, shops, restaurants, bars, etc. The air-conditioner is noisy and filter needs to be cleaned though. Considering a hotel room on a budget, this is a very good choice.”

“The place was amazing and I would have given it a five star but unfortunately I had an accident coming out if the hot tub. It was super slick and I wound up slipping and bruising up my toes on my left foot. It was so bad my birthday pedicure had to be postponed because it was black and blue. While there we saw a man slip on the deck and his feet came out from him and he landed on his back. Another young man fell as well. Parts of the deck are so slick I am shocked there haven't been complaints.”
