“The property is gorgeous. It is centered around redwood trees and has stairs down to the river. The landscape of the property is beautiful and well-maintained. I cannot give it full stars due to one thing that was not well listed. We booked the deluxe cottage thinking it was a larger sized cottage for my husband and I to go on a quiet vacation. “We had a great stay at this property. Everything was super clean and well-maintained, and we loved having 2.5 baths. Although there were lots of stairs, the bedroom's separation from the living areas made for quiet sleeping. My only complaint is that the pillows were horrible. We ended up sleeping on sweatshirts and blankets instead because they were so thick and hard. ”

“We spent the last 5 days at this beautiful Foresta home with 2 bedrooms -- one with a queen full size futon, and one with a queen bed and en-suite bathroom. Everything was as advertised. We couldn't use the hot tub as it's closed Nov-May as to avoid frozen pipes, but we would love to return again, either in winter or summer! Being 20 minutes from the Yosemite valley floor (Bridevail, etc.) was truly wonderful. We woke up to deer in our backyard twice. :) ”

“This cabin felt about as close as you could stay in Yosemite Valley (unless you’re paying to stay in the lodges or camping). The proximity made it simpler to get to all of the nearby hikes and eateries in the valley. The cabin itself was perfect for our needs and we didn’t have any issues. It’s great for 1-2 adults! The manager, Annie, was amazing! She communicated with us every step of the way. Highly recommend! ”

The views from the windows are gorgeous. I loved seeing the horses and Waffles the steer every morning. Joey was an excellent host and very responsive to any questions I had. “Getting to the cabin was fairly easy, except finding the driveway. We expected the 30 step stairs, so no issues there.Getting into the cabin was a smooth process (emailed code worked just fine), and it was nice to see how spacious it was for two adults and a 15 & 11 year old kids.The cabin is located a short 40 min drive from the Yosemite Park welcome center!
