"We originally booked a superior King Suite. Prior to our arrival we were upgraded to the Penthouse suite. This was a pleasant surprise. While the gesture was appreciated, the suite we were given was two floors with the bedroom and bathroom upstairs. We stayed for two nights and after the first night the stairs became more of a nuisance than a bonus as they were steep steps and a little slippery. We would have preferred one floor in the end. As we were not asked and just given this room it might be prudent to ask before switching. We were capable of climbing the stairs, but some may not be. Other than this, the room was nice, clean and in a good location. The staff were helpful. We only had one remote control and 3 tvs in the space. They tried their best to get us one for the bedroom and succeeded on the second day. Parking was a bit of a pain. It was in the green P lot about half a block away. It just meant carrying luggage without any assistance or trolleys. We also noticed that later in the day the lot was full which could be a problem for those checking in later in the day."

"Check in was seamless. I arrived early but staff were courteous and helpful. The view in my room was wonderful. I didn’t use the amenities or the restaurants. My trip was too quick. The location is very convenient."

"The hotel sells rooms under the false premise that the hotel is renovated. Very disappointing. The inital room offers was dirty. In “upgrade” executive room was cleaner, but still not a renovated room. Front desk were responsive, and respectful, yest they should not be in a position to have to deal with dirty rooms and false marketing complaints. Not sure why it is rated at 4 stars. It is very very dirty .. and very poorly maintained. Will never stay here again."

"I had requested the accessible room because I am in a small powerchair. I was thankful for the safety bar in the bathroom, but the doorway to get in the bathroom was so small that I could not get into it without hitting the door frame or door. The entryway was too narrow and it was hard to get my power chair underneath the sink because there was very little turning radius. There were safety bars in the shower, but they did not provide a shower seat. I stayed at the Delta a few months ago and the Doubletree was much better. The reception staff were exceptional."
