"The guy who checked us in was extremely rude, even going as far as to yell at my boyfriend when he asked him to repeat himself. Then we are put out back where it already looks like there's homeless and drug deals happening. Shirtless men hanging out on the walk way smoking cigarettes and drinking beer greeted us on oir way to our room. Once we get inside, it reeks of cigarettes, dirty, and the smoke detector is no where to be found. (Came across is later on top of the clothes rack) My boyfriend went to get yhe rest of our belongings from the car as it didnt feel safe to leave anything in there. On his way back up he was then accosted by a homeless man who wouldnt let him come back to the room without giving him some of our things. If not for another guest coming along, he wouldnt have been able to get away from the man without getting physical. The rest of the night we prayed for morning to come so we could sneak out of there after people fell into their drug or alcohol induced sleeps. NEVER COME HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE ON AN EPISODE OF COPS!!!"

"This hotel is always immaculate. The staff are very welcoming and professional. This is the only place I stay in the Richmond area "

"This place was absolutely horrifying, they put me all way in the back and sent men to knock at my door all night,,it was dirty and smelled like mildew, i out the table at the door because the deadbolt was broke and the table feel on me,the leg was broke,,i didn't sleep all night the sheets were dirty and the towels were brown, there was no free breakfast and the people at the front desk where rude as hell i do not recommend "

"The room had spider webs on the ceiling, peeling paint on the walls, black debris all over the sofa, a dirty toilet seat, a bathtub that drained extremely slowly, and very poor sound insulation. This has been the worst stay I’ve ever had at a Holiday Inn, and I will not be choosing Holiday Inn again in the future. These conditions are completely different from what was described on the Expedia website."
