"From the moment we arrived, Alazne was right there, along with the other staff member, but Alazne was front and center providing what would make a 5-star hotel blush in comparison. She jumped at every opportunity to make sure we had the BEST experience possible. That continued throughout our visit, enough that we would consider just coming back to Italy to stay there under her care! She got us entry to a difficult to get museum, provided dinner choices and our room was immaculate and we felt like a king and queen. Bravo Alazne and the staff at the Orto de Medici hotel for a royal experience that will make Florence (Firenze) a highlight of our travels forever! Bravisimo!"

"Hotel is in an excellent location near train station and so easy access when we arrived in florence. Has a lot of character and room was good. Could have done with easier access to charge phones and other tech within room. The bathroom was clean but could use a new coat of paint. Great and powerful shower. Very good breakfast and staff were very polite and friendly. I would stay there again. "

"The location for this hotel is perfect because it is quiet and calm, yet easy to walk around everywhere. Breakfast was good, and staff were kind and welcoming. The room was perfect and modern. All amenities were perfect, and they even had a self-service washer and dryer."

"It's clearly a block of flats that has been converted to a hotel. My room was a bit cramped but for a few nights, I could live with it. There is a slight smell which in high summer is likely to be prominent. If you don't expect a 5 star experience, then it's OK. My room was clean, the staff friendly enough and walking distance to all the major sights. If I was back in Florence, would I stay there again, probably not, but I've no real complaints. Just don't expect too much and you'll be fine."

"The Staff at the Hoxton were very nice, enjoyed chatting with them, and they answered all questions. They helped arrange a very early taxi pickup - 4 am. The outdoor patio area was one of my favorites. I enjoyed the outdoors while sipping a prosecco or reading on the very comfy furniture. The attached restaurant was very good - a little pricey."

"Hotel focus on big groups not for couples Terrible bar restaurant music for young generation and loud It took 30minutes for check in only 1 person in front desk 20 minutes latter another came to help No city maps or tourism information at front desk "
