“The Pondside Lodge was a splendid place to stay for our trip to South Dakota! The lodge is beautifully furnished and spotlessly clean. The living room picture window looks out over the pond and the Needles are clearly visible in the distance. It is a very relaxing location - quiet and lovely. We saw turkeys and deer every day going to and from the lodge. The lodge is a short drive to the Custer Wildlife Loop (spectacular!), the Needles Highway (amazing!), and Sylvan Lake (stunning!). “It was cozy and clean. I would recommend travlers bring a fan to get the cool air from the front room to the bedroom. Otherwise, completely recommend and will use them again. ”

“The apartment, the location, and the host were seriously TOP TIER!! Like perfection. The only negative is that the upstairs guest was very noisy. That said, I would stay here again without a doubt!!”

“There were a couple of rooms rented by college or high school kids. The rooms were filled with kids who were shooting fake guns at the parking lot, hanging off railings and generally disturbing everyone else’s stay. There needs to be a manager on sight to deal with people like this. Other than that, all was ok.”
