“The room was very clean no residual odors like some hotel rooms. Hot tub was hot and the pool was just right. It's right near the cool chainsaw, art, and places to eat. cleaner and better maintained than the super 8 in Denver and that was $100 more!”

“Such a great Lodge! So glad I found this gem. Would definitely stay there again. Beautiful location with a “view” of GW & TJ on Mount Rushmore. About a 2 minute drive to the monument.
Large area for kids to play in the evening and a fire pit to cozy around in the evenings.
We had a delicious burger in the restaurant in the evening. The breakfast was on par for free hotel breakfast.
The only negative I would have is that the rooms are not very soundproof. And definitely ask for an upstairs……

“Nice stop after seeing Mount Rushmore. The beds were comfortable and the shower was good. It was long time to get the water hot but once it was, it was great. Not a fan of the pillows, noisy a/c or the spotty wifi but we streamed the world cup on our devices and enjoyed a beer on the bar deck.
Seemed like a great place for families with playground & pool.”

“Unplug and reset!!
We stayed in the stargazer tent and it as very cool! The location/view was fantastic. The tents were so clean and well kept. The whole site was quiet during sleeping hours which we really appreciated. The staff was very nice and check-in/out was a breeze. Anything we needed the staff was able to provide quickly and even did so without asking for things we didn't notice. Food from the restaurant was nice, cleaner eating and very welcomed after eating on the road/fast food prior……
